Flute Duet No. 1 G- Major op. 9
The three flute duets op. 9, like the 6 light brilliant flute duets op. 19 (20019 and 20042), are still predominantly rooted in the classical spirit, even if romantic approaches are evident, especially in the slow movements. For lovers of duet playing, this music is a wonderful discovery, full of melodic surprises always at a technically manageable level.
Due to the length of the individual duets, I have opted for an edition with score and individual parts for these 3 duets in order to satisfy both the desire for score form and a version that can be played without interruptions by individual parts. The turning passages have been carefully selected and tested in practice and sometimes make it necessary to turn the pages with the right hand while playing.
